Blue Ribbon Arson Committee
ABOUT THE BLUE RIBBON ARSON COMMITTEE The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee (BRAC) was developed in 1973 to assist investigators in the state of Ohio. In 1978, BRAC started Reward Fund which offers financial incentives for information that leads to convictions involving the crime of ARSON. Since the program's inception, 546 rewards have been issued with $672,500 being paid out as rewards. Approximately, 720 fires have been solved with over 260 of these fires being attempts to defraud the insurance industry. The savings to the industry is in excess of $11.5 million. Several recent reward recipients have helped stop serial arson issues in their cities!

ABOUT HIGH BANK DISTILLERY When Ohio forged plans for the state capital, the area known as Franklinton was a primary consideration due to its close proximity to the water and pre-existing infrastructure. After much consideration, they concluded the risk of flooding was too great. On February 14th, 1812, the state legislature accepted plans to lay out the capital, now known as Columbus, on the High Bank, opposite Franklinton, at the fork of the Scioto and Olentangy rivers. We take the same uncompromised approach when selecting each ingredient to create every plate of food, crafted cocktail, and bottle of High Bank spirits.
